Christmas Already

Here is the start of my Christmas cards
The stamp was done on glossy photo paper. I let it dry and then used my alcohol ink pens to colour in the areas I wanted. I put small bits of glitter on the roof, at the base and below the stamp to make it look more like fresh snow. I placed it on red foil to help bring our the colours then added a bow and bell. I used three snowflake to add more dimension in the corners and a small wooden snowman at the bottom (which I think I should have actually left off.)
I started by covering the base card with a festive paper. I cut a 12 by 12" sheet with Christmas sayings. Then I added a light green glossy paper. The stamp is once again on glossy photo paper. I didn't want to make it too busy, so I just highlighted some of the areas with the markers. I also added a small bow at the top. I lined it up with a sheet of Christmas notes (was also originally a 12 by 12") and then glued it in place. The small present on the bottom is covering up a mistake, but also adds a nice finishing touch.

I started with a plain white card, already shaped at the bottom. I used Tim Holtz blue and green distress ink, then added a hint of red. The image is stamped on glossy photo paper and placed on a red foil background. I coloured in parts of the image and then added a few extra embellishments.

This is based on the photo card from the Scrapbook Carnival. The only reason it has stuff on the side is because I messed up when trying to make the item look further back.

I would likely redo this one and colour it differently.

To show you how far I've come, this is one from last year.
