Final Day of Carnival

Today I wore my stiletto shoe headband. It was harder to tell what this one was, but I still got a few compliments and even more strange looks.

I was sad to see the carnival come to an end, but like all good things it had to. Today I did some pages and a few of the make-and-takes. It was interesting to learn some new techniques.

I also love eating the calorie-free sunday. Ok, so maybe it wasn't calorie-free, but it should have been.

Sadly, my two-page spread did not win the layout contest, but my $2 entry fee went to a well-deserving cause: The Stollery Children's Hospital. I also bought one of the cards being sold - I paid $5. It is so cute.

I'm not sure that I like this page, but I think it has more to do with the fact that I don't like our wedding program.
